Yesterday visit to the Innate Reserve of Dona Catalina (Spain), that we are still preparing to the pubblic. Despite the increasing temperatures, still a rather good activity of birds: tens of White Storks, 2 Black Storks, 2 SPOONBILLS, 2-3 Egyptian, 2-3 Cinereous and tens of Griffon Vultures, 9 Booted and 1 Short-toed Eagles, 3-4 Lesser Kestrels, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 1 GREAT SPOTTED CUCKOO, tens of Bee-eaters, 1-2 Calandra Larks, 1 ORPHEAN WARBLER, 2 Golden Orioles, hundreds of nesting Spanish Sparrows and a family of HAWFINCHES. But a great surprise are insects, with the stunning Nemoptera bipennis and the rare Epauled Skimmer.
